Witnessing a Signature
The lawyer will witness the client signing the document, including the signature of parties to an agreement. Clients must bring with them one government issued photo identification that displays a sample of their hand signature. Only after proper verification of parties’ identities, will the lawyer allow the process to proceed to the witnessed signature stage.
