Declaration of Common-Law Union

Declaration of Common-Law Union

A statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union is a form required by Citizenship and Immigration Canada as part of an application to sponsor a Common-Law partner for permanent residency. The form is found on Citizenship and Immigration Canada website and there is no need to draft such declaration for this purpose. The attending lawyer at Vaughan Notary Public will administer the Solemn Declaration and require both the Sponsor and the Principal Applicant to sign the declaration form before his eyes.

Clients are requested to read and thoroughly understand the contents of their document prior to their arrival at Vaughan Notary Public. The form should be filled prior to arrival, but not signed. The document should only be signed in front of the lawyer administering the Solemn Declaration.

Fee Schedule:

$35 Per Document.
