Notarization and Certification of Document Copies
The process of Notarization is also known as Certification. The purpose of the process is to certify that a copy made of an original document is a true and accurate copy for the recipient to rely on. The certification process is valid for some international uses as well as domestic. The lawyer at Vaughan Notary Public examining the document will produce a photocopy and place a statement on it attesting to its accuracy. The document is signed and embossed with the notary public seal.
One can also attain a certified copy of a document that does not pertain to its holder. That is, a document belonging to another person, so long as the original is presented to the lawyer at Vaughan Notary Public.
