Applications for Permanent Resident Card
Declaration in Lieu of a Guarantor:
If you cannot produce an eligible guarantor for an application of a Permanent Resident Card, the attending lawyer at Vaughan Notary Public will commission a statutory declaration in lieu of a guarantor. The attending lawyer at Vaughan Notary Public will witness you signing the statutory declaration in lieu of a guarantor.
A Permanent Resident Card serves as a travel documents for landed immigrants that have not completed the process of naturalization and do not hold a Canadian Citizenship yet. A landed immigrant must hold a Permanent Resident Card in order of entering Canada by any means of commercial transportation (aerial or ground transportation).
Notarization of Passport Photographs:
The attending lawyer at Vaughan Notary Public will certify your photographs for the application.
Notarization of Supporting Documents:
The attending lawyer at Vaughan Notary Public will certify any supporting documents the applicant is required to include in his or her application, such as documents supporting the identity of the applicant.
